We would like to sincerely thank RSL Community Grants for their generous support of 105.1 Rhema Wide Bay. Your commitment to investing in local community initiatives makes a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful to be one of the organisations benefiting from your support.

As a 100% volunteer-run community radio station, Rhema Wide Bay exists to bring positive messages, encouragement, and important information to people across our region. Through music, community updates, and uplifting content, we aim to be a voice of hope and connection for listeners throughout the Wide Bay.

Thanks to the support of the RSL Community Grants program, we have been able to install UPS battery systems at our studio. These systems provide vital backup power, helping ensure our station can remain on air even during power interruptions. In times of uncertainty, severe weather, or community need, maintaining the ability to broadcast reliable information is incredibly important.

This upgrade strengthens our resilience as a community broadcaster and helps us continue serving our listeners when it matters most. Being able to stay on air means we can continue sharing encouragement, updates, and support with our community.

We are deeply grateful to RSL Community Grants for recognising the value of community radio and for partnering with us to help strengthen communication and connection across the Wide Bay region.
